Caterpillar Kids Therapy provides expert physical therapy services to children in their home environment. We serve children of all ages and abilities in North San Diego County.
Meet Dr. Kristy:
Dr. Kristy Gurol, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist who has been treating pediatric patients since receiving her doctorate from Chapman University in 2009. Dr. Kristy credits her success to the early days of her career when she received excellent mentorship from some of the most skilled therapists in the state. After moving on to a new clinic, Dr. Kristy realized her enthusiasm for providing mentorship to younger therapists and paying it forward to the next generation of therapists who have a passion for pediatrics. Motherhood was another life event which heavily impacted Dr. Kristy’s career. She has two children, Ender and Ayla. Her ability to connect with parents and understand their thoughts, feelings, and concerns helps her to provide a higher level of support to her patients and their families. Dr. Kristy and her husband moved to North San Diego County in 2022, and she decided to start Caterpillar Kids Therapy in 2023 to serve the community and do it “the right way.”
Dr. Kristy is well versed in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) techniques and Sensory Integration (SI) strategies and enjoys combining many treatment methods to create individualized plans of care for each patient to help them reach their fullest potential.
